- It doesn't show your opening hours; the menu and reservations open from the contact buttons.
- Every change goes live when you save: there are no drafts.
Frequently asked questions
What should I use for a bar's or an event company's website?
If the website is mainly to show the place and sell tickets, Chicle works for free and the events calendar updates itself with your events. If you need an online store, a blog, several languages or custom code, a general website builder is a better fit.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. You enter it in your website settings, Chicle shows you the DNS records to add at your provider and, once everything checks out, activates the site with HTTPS. Meanwhile, the site keeps working at yourname.chicle.ar.
Can my customers buy tickets without leaving my website?
Yes. They pick the ticket, fill the cart and check out on your website. Payment happens on Mercado Pago and then they come back to your website.
How much does it cost?
Nothing: the website and connecting the domain are on every plan. You only pay for your domain, if you want one, and the buyer pays the service fee on each ticket.
Will my website show up on Google?
You can choose to show it in search engines. Each website has its own sitemap, title, description and sharing image. When and how it shows up is up to Google.
Can people tell it's made with Chicle?
In the footer, yes: it says "Hecho con Chicle" and links to Chicle's terms and privacy policy. The design, colors and content are yours.
