Chicle is an online reservation system for restaurants and bars. You set time slots, tables and capacity; your customers book from your profile or your booking link, and your staff sees everything in one calendar. Reservations without payment are free. To take a deposit or the full amount upfront, you add the Paid reservations add-on.

What the reservation system does

Time slots and hours
Fixed time slots for each day of the week, closed days, blocking specific days or slots, and how many days ahead people can book.

Tables and capacity
Add your tables or take them from your floor plan, with a minimum and maximum party size. The customer picks or you assign, and a table can't be booked twice in the same slot.

Staff calendar
Day, week and month views, a list, and occupancy on the floor plan. You confirm, cancel and mark whether guests showed up.

Phone bookings and walk-ins
Bookings that come in by phone and people who arrive without a reservation go into the same calendar.

Customer notices
An email when the booking is confirmed and a reminder the day before. You can add your own questions and terms.

Deposits or prepayment
With the Paid reservations add-on, the customer pays a deposit or the full amount online or by bank transfer, and the booking is confirmed once the payment is approved.

For example, "Table reservation": tables, time slots, price (free or with a deposit) and terms.

It shows on your Chicle profile with its own link for your Instagram or WhatsApp. Your business has to be approved.

They pick a day, a time slot and the party size, and book with their Chicle account.

The booking lands in the calendar: you confirm it if it isn't automatic, assign the table and mark whether they came.
How much it costs
Free
Reservations without payment are on every plan, including Free. To take a deposit or prepayment, you add the Paid reservations add-on for $29,900 per month. The Negocio plan ($99,900 per month) includes one add-on of your choice.

Before you choose
What the reservation system doesn't do
- There's no waitlist.
- Customers can't cancel or change their booking in Chicle: they message you and you change it.
- Reminders go by email only, not by SMS or WhatsApp.
- It doesn't connect to Google or embed as a widget on another website: people book from your Chicle profile or its link.
- There's no no-show fee. If you cancel a paid booking, the refund isn't automatic.
Frequently asked questions
Which reservation system is best for a small restaurant or bar?
If you want to start for free, with fixed time slots, your tables and a calendar for your staff, Chicle works. If you need a waitlist, bookings from Google or table-turn rules by party size, Chicle doesn't have them today.
Does the customer need an account?
Yes, to book online they need a Chicle account, which they can create on the spot. You add phone bookings and walk-ins to the calendar yourself, without the customer needing an account.
Can I take a deposit?
Yes, with the Paid reservations add-on ($29,900 per month, or included in the Negocio plan). You choose to charge the full amount or a deposit; the customer pays online or by bank transfer with a receipt, and pays the rest at your venue.
Does the customer get a confirmation?
Yes. They get an email when the booking is confirmed and another one the day before. On paid plans you can add an automation that asks them to confirm attendance.
How do I avoid double-booking a table?
Chicle won't let the same table be booked twice in the same slot. And if you use the same floor plan for an event, that table can't be booked during the event either.
Can my customers book from Instagram?
They can use the booking link you put in your bio or send on WhatsApp. There's no built-in button on Instagram or Google.
