You set up the card
In the dashboard you choose how many purchases, the reward and the look.

The customer joins
The card shows on your Chicle profile and the customer taps to join. Your business has to be approved.

Automatically when they pay through Chicle. At the counter, with the PIN they read to you.

You hand out the reward
When the card is complete, the customer redeems it in the app with a PIN, or you hand it out from your customer list.

Before you choose
What the stamp card doesn't do
- It doesn't connect to your point-of-sale system: sales outside Chicle add stamps with the PIN or by hand.
- It isn't an Apple Wallet or Google Wallet pass. The card lives in Chicle.
- It doesn't award points per amount spent and has no tiers: one purchase is one stamp.
- A stamp can't be removed once given.
- Rewards are redeemed in the Chicle app. If the customer doesn't have it, you hand the reward out from the dashboard.
Frequently asked questions
Which stamp card app should I use for a café or a bar?
If you want something free, with no paper cards, that also shows you who comes back, Chicle works: you set up the card in the dashboard and the customer keeps it on their phone. If you need every sale at your register to add a stamp automatically, look for an option built into your point-of-sale system. Chicle doesn't connect to POS systems today.
Does the customer have to download an app?
They need a Chicle account. They can join the card and request stamps on the web. To redeem the reward on their phone they use the Chicle app; if they don't have it, you hand it out from the customer list in the dashboard.
How do I prevent fake stamps?
At the counter, every stamp needs a 4-digit PIN that expires after 15 minutes and is validated by your staff. A customer can request up to 10 stamps a day at your venue.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. The stamp card is on every plan, including Free, and Chicle charges no commission on rewards. Your only cost is the reward you offer.
Can I have more than one card?
Yes. You can run several at once. Only one can count "any purchase"; the others count products you choose, for example one for coffee and one for lunch.
What do you see about your customers?
Who has each card, how many stamps they have, which rewards are pending and which you already handed out. Those customers join your contact list so you can email them, within your plan's quota.
